I’m Anjali, a designer, visual thinker, storyteller and maker of experiences at the intersection of design, technology and social innovation.
I love leveraging new technology through physical and digital design, and research methodologies to create human-centric products and innovation strategies. Since graduating from Pratt Institute in industrial design, I’ve consulted for several startups working in this realm and more recently served as a designer and strategist for Questto|No a Brazilian-born, Brooklyn design consultancy working out the New Lab, a hardware centric community.
Since 2008, I’ve been running Picture It, a global social project that uses artivism to raise funds and awareness for various health, humanitarian and environmental causes. Previous projects have been used by UN Office for Disarmament Affairs, UNEP, FAO and more. In 2011, I had the opportunity to represent it while being the youngest participant at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Being a designer is about letting multiple facets of society inform your creative pursuits. I love meeting new people - reach out if you want to talk about tech, astronomy, sustainability, politics or travel. I’m always looking to collaborate and make something special!
